Question: Bladedwind, will classes be able to promote in this game?

Yes. One can also start out promoted. However, to do so, one has to audition for the promoted class in order to be accepted. I can't just make anyone an Assassin or a Sage. That's how things go.

A little change. Paladins will not refer to the upgraded class of the mounted Cavalier. Those will be called Horselords. Paladins are holy knights of the church. But can they still use horses? Actually, while on the subject, while I will limit what jobs can use a mount, a number of jobs I make could use mounts (so maybe I can note if mount for battle then)

Question: Will we be using "auto-loading" crossbows that are popular in fiction? Or more realistic ones that require the user to reload after each shot?
Please answer as quickly as you can.

Auto loading crossbows will be acceptable for advanced units, minus those that are mounted.

Thank you. Maybe auto-loading was the wrong term I was looking for, but at the least quick loading (cause some types of bows were big and required quite a bit of time to load, hell the arbalest was a type of crossbow [not that we'll have those for individuals of course]).
I guess I'm asking if it's possible for non-elf riders to control a flying mount without hands that are instead loading a small crossbow. (which is one of the reasons why I have javelins which are thrown as a weapon for all riders)
