Lars snorted at Lawliet, irritated by his behavior.
"I'm going as fast as I can! She's heavily wounded!"
Alex and Claudius made their way down the hallway when they heard rapid footsteps approach. They readied their weapons when Beowulf rounded the corner. They both sighed in relief, lowering their weapons. Alex spoke.
"I'm glad to see you alive, Commander!"
Beowulf tossed them a bag of Vulenary, for it looked like they needed it.
"Go to the king's chambers! The secret passage is open and Amadus is leading the prince out!"

"Then leave her be..." Lawliet said coldly to Lars. He then helped Lars carry her as well and started to run, "You better keep up.." He told the man.
[sucky..but I"m in a hurry right now]

Lars resisted the urge to punch the man in the face. To leave behind any ally he could save was a crime in his book, and he wasn't about to do that. He lead them further down the hall, when Beowulf came running up!
"Isabel! Lars! Where's Ryan and Makoto?!"

"You mean those two guys? Think their dead. They went to fight 'til the end. Let's get out of here, if there's a chance they do survive..then they'll know how to escape like us." Lawliet said to Beowulf.

Before anyone could react, Beowulf grabbed Lawliet by the collar, lifted him up off the ground, and slugged him in the face. Everyone present was stunned. Beowulf then let go.
"I will not tolerate demeaning words from a low life sell sword like yourself about MY generals! Is that clear?!"
As Beowuld finished speaking, footsteps could be heard. The commander raised his weapon, but soon lowered it at the sight of Ryan, his hair and armor covered in blood; there was not a single scratch on him.
"Harsh words, Commander. Nice to see you care, though."

Lawliet got up, and took of his mask to wipe the saliva and blood away. "You pack a mean punch old man. So we going or not?" He smirked at Beowulf and leaned against the wall. "Now that we're all reunited....I suggest you go if you want your prince to live neh?"

Beowulf shook his head.
"We still need to find Makoto!"
Ryan, hearing this, bolted off towards another direction.
"He's most likely in the throne room. That's where he was last time."
Lars supported Isabel, and the hobbled along as fast as possible. Beowulf followed closely behind, soon being passed by Lawliet. They found Makoto fighting what was left of the troops in the throne room, alongside twenty Arthias soldiers who had managed to make their way to Makoto.
"About damn time. You're late."

"Hmm...think we better hurry up before the fire catches inside. No time for chit chat until we're safe. I have a mercenary group to take care of." Lawliet mentioned as he walks towards the throne where King Matthias's body lay down. He turned to the Grand Generals and asked, "You guys going to give the King a proper burial?"

Makoto shook his head, sheathing his blade.
"No time. This will have to serve as his grave."
The group made their way to the throne room, troops and all. The filed into the passage, Beowulf going last, sealing the passage......just in time. The Doramas troops burst in to find an empty room. After walking through a dark, dank passage, the group emerged in the forest where Amadus waited with the Prince Edgar. The prince sighed with relief and shed tears of joy.
"Thank the Gods! You are all alive!"

Lawliet raised his his hand, his katar still equipped to him. He waved at the princed and said, "Hey there Edgar. You remember me right? The assassin that came to kill ya?" He chuckled lightly, and started walking past the prince. Lawliet stood against a tree and sighed, "That was one hell of a battle. Where are you guys going next?" He asked, a bit curious to where they were going now since their castle is now taken over by Doramas.

Beowulf sheathed his blade.
"We go to the Armstrong fief down south. Lord Angus is still a part of Arthias, and has no doubt caught wind of this. However, I would like to send some people north to Zanathos. Captain Oswald rode out as a messenger, but who knows if he'll make it....."

"Well..that's your problem not mine. As for me..I'm going. You might meet me again..maybe as an enemy. Maybe as a friend. Who knows who'll hire me eh?" Lawliet got off the tree and started walking away, "Hey Edgar...your kingdom was my favorite employer. They were honest...and always payed me well. So..don't fail on me 'kay?" He turned and grinned at Edgar before walking away again.

Haseo follows Edgar and the Grand Generals through the secret passage of the castle. Upon exiting the passage, Haseo turns to his rear and unleashes a small gust of wind from the Silvance, collapsing the passage. "That should keep them off our trail for a while." Haseo then sheathes the Silvance and approaches the group shortly after Lawliet took his leave. "Prince Edgar... It's truly an honor to meet you, your Lordship. My name is Haseo.", he says while bowing courteously. Haseo then turns to Isabel. "I apologize for my actions at the castle gate, Miss. I carried out my own agenda without thinking. For that, I am sorry. Also, I realize that this is asking a bit much, but would your Lordship mind if I travel with you for a bit? I know that I'd be nowhere near as useful as the Grand Generals, but I'll gladly lend my services if your Lordship wishes it so."

"It would be an honor to accept your help, Haseo. I need all the help I can get if I'm going to strike back at Doramas!"
