[Not sure if you want this....but I'm kind of bored and I want to rp if you don't mind.]
The thundering hoofs of horses and the clanking of heavy metal armor could be heard in the distance. They drew near towards the Arthrias Castle where it's lights were bright and could be seen from miles away. It was a time for celebration, Prince Edgar of Arthias has turned 16, and a huge banquet has been held in his honor. Unknown to the citizens of the village and the inhabitants of the castle, that the kingdom of Doramas is coming.
Lawliet grew tiresome of the long march. He look left and then right from atop his horse. He was lying down comfortably on his black stallion, his arms used as a pillow. Among his comrades in arms, he was the only one not in a suit of armor. He was an assassin for hire, a mercenary if you will. Lawliet was known as the 'The Fallen Angel of Death', and his reputation had caught the ears of Doramas' Lord. He was now hired to fight in this battle and to kill Prince Edgar. Heh, Lawliet didn't care all that much in the affairs of kingdoms. His only goal in life is to survive, and killing is the only way he knows how.
The assassin stood up on his horse and yawned loudly, attracting the attention of some knights around him. He grinned at them and they faced forward once again. It was obvious they were deathly afraid of him. With all these rumors circulating about him, there was bound to be some that makes him a powerful entity.
The Fallen Angel of Death looked at his weapons and his equipment. His two katars were strapped to his back and they were in order. Katars are like daggers you can attach to your arm and it won't fall off..well unless your arm is cut off. Which Lawliet doubt will happen to him. His black mask was off and he decided to put it on since it was almost time for the action. Lawliet wore a long darkred trenchcoat with a tight, black longshirt under it.
He stood up on his horse, the other soldiers around him was surprised to see him in a dangerous position. Lawliet grabbed the Katars strapped to his back and equipped them. He winked at a soldier next to him then jumped forward in front of the horse. It was showtime, his orders were clear.
--------------------------------------------
The village had a festival in honor of Prince Edgar of course. It was the guard's tough luck that he was in the gate where the festival was most far away from. The sentry at the front gate of the village sat on a chair, bored out of his wits. He yawned loudly, he couldn't wait to go home and cuddle with his newlywed wife he married a week earlier. The guard smiled, his spear in his hand. Then he heard shuffling. He stood up, alert. An enemy or just an animal. He looked over at the bushes, then he saw a rabbit hopping out of it. He sighed in relief, then felt something at his neck.
Lawliet's katar was at the guard's neck and whispered, "It's strictly business..." Then he sliced the guard and he fell to the ground dead. He could hear the Doramas's Army coming, he could hear the hoofs of their steeds drawing near. They were charging now....Lawliet cursed, it was too early. Oh well, he might as well go into the village and kill as many guards as he can. Then Lawliet disappeared into the night, entering the village silently and through the shadows of the darkness.

Haseo was usually the mellow type, but he knew this night would be different. A festival was held in Prince Edgar's honor, and Haseo partied merrily. Several of the other villagers had not seen this side of Haseo before, as he never knew his real parents. They admired him for facing adversity with such gusto. Haseo, along with other villagers (of the male variety), drown themselves in food and drink. The phrase "Drink and be merry" certainly reared its head at this festival.
But, surprisingly, all was not well at this celebration. Haseo hears the faint sound of someone falling flat on the ground. There was also a hint of blood in the atmosphere. Haseo slowly approaches the village's front gate, keeping his hand steady on the hilt of his blade that hung from his left hip...

From the opposite end of the gate Haseo arrived at, the Doramas army has charged into the village. They killed many citizens and townsfolk as they raided the village. Luckily the village was large and people have a chance of surviving. They arrived at the townsquare, women screamed, the men effortlessly reached for their weapons. But it was a futile attempt, many men were killed in the onslaught as well as children and women. Death was everywhere, some of the villagers had their weapons and attacked the knights, but their armor was too strong for their weapons and many fell in their attempts. Someone then set a building on fire, which quickly caught to other buildings.
Lawliet was in the alley as Haseo ran passed him. He heard the screams and womens and he cursed angrily. The assassin might as well as kill Haseo too. He ran out of the alleyway, he yelled in a battlecry and slashed downwards on Haseo. It would be a quick and easy kill..or so he believes.

Haseo turns back around at the sound of the villagers' screams of terror and pain. The smell of blood in the air was now stronger than ever. Without a moment's hesitation, Haseo draws his blade from its sheath. But before he could return to help the villagers, an attacker from above had hindered his path. Haseo quickly leaps back to avoid the assassin's strike and readies his blade. "Who are you!?", Haseo attacked the assassin verbally.
This man, Haseo thought to himself... The scent of death permeated his clothes... This was no ordinary assassin. He smelled...like a killer possessed...

Lawliet grinned under his assassin mask. "I am the Fallen Angel of Death!" He said to his opponent, next to him on the wall was a picture of a man identical to Lawliet. It said 'Wanted: Dead or Alive, 1,000,000 Gold'. Lawliet charged towards Haseo, then once he was five feet away he slid in order to trip Haseo with a slide kick.

Haseo was unable to predict the assassin's movements and therefore lost his balance from the assassin's sweeping kick. Thinking quickly, just before Haseo falls onto the ground, he plants the palm of his hand flat on the ground and uses his arm to bounce over the assassin onto his feet. Readying his blade once again, Haseo dashes inward at full speed, intending to end the assassin's life with a sword thrust through his back.

"You amateur..." He sidestepped Haseo and used his elbow to strike Haseo's arm. It would cause a powerful shock into Haseo's system and makes his arm unable to wield a heavy weapon like his sword. The move was an amazing technique, it was obvious that the assassin was a well-trained man. He looked at Haseo on the ground, on his knees to be precise. He raised his right arm for the finishing blow and....
---------------------------------------
The army had massacred the villagers, now they head to the castle to kill the prince. They charged forward towards the castle. But a hundred troops had stayed behind the burning village. They had other orders. Kill the mercenary. Kill the assassin. Kill the Fallen Angel of Death.
---------------------------------------
.....He hesitated. His sharp ears heard the clanking of metal heading towards him. His eyes saw the silouhette of one hundred men on in armor charging towards him. He had suspected as much...he was wanted after all. "Damn king....Betraying me..and before, not paying me in advance. That bastard..." Lawliet stood in a stance, awaited them. They must be veterans...they all charged so flawlessly. Heh..sending some of their best to kill Lawliet. That was a mistake...a big mistake. Finally they got closer and closer until they could the whites of their eyes. The Fallen Angel charged towards them. He jumped and landed on a man's helmet. Spears stabbed towards him, but he dodged them by jumping down then slicing the knight's head. He saw two spears coming towards him and he ducked. He rolled to the right and slit a knight's throat. Two down...98 more to go.

Haseo clenches his arm in pain from the assassin's powerful blow. He tried to pick up his sword, but to no avail. Everytime he tried, his arm would throb in agony. Turning around, Haseo watches as his home goes up in flames.
Tears of sadness stream down Haseo's face. His friends... His family... They were all gone...
No... Now was not the time for sorrow. He ignores the pain in his arm and tightly clenches his blade. "You... BASTARDS!!!!", Haseo screams as he charges in. The armored knights detect Haseo's presence and target him as well as the assassin. One knight swings his sword at Haseo. Haseo ducks underneath the sword and slashes through the knight's torso, which was partly uncovered by armor. The knight falls over, but he doesn't die. Two more javelin-wielding knights attack Haseo in unison. They thrust their spears at Haseo. Haseo narrowly avoids this attack by leaping into the air. One knight had wounded the other knight, while Haseo lands on the other knight's shoulders and strikes a pressure point on his neck, knocking him unconscious.
As angry as Haseo was at the knights, he couldn't bring himself to kill them...

Lawliet easily dodged the knight's slow attacks, their heavy armor and weapons slowing them down. He laughed maniacally at his killing spree, his bloodlust reaching it's max. The Fallen Angel cut weapons making them useless. He slit the throats of the men, cut their heads off, and severed their limbs. It was a total bloodbath. Fear striked the hearts of the men but it was too late. Hell has condemned them to hell..both in the living world and soon the world of the dead.
An hour had passed since the massacre of the villagers..and the knights. The army must've reached the castle already. He turned to Haseo..he had noticed during the battle that he did not kill one single man...and that was problematic. Lawliet looked at his pile of dead bodies and looked Haseo's pile. No blood....they were just sleeping soundly. "Never give mercy to your enemy...never..." He walked towards Haseo and stepped on a knight's body. The knight coughed up blood and soon he died. He did so with the rest and when he finished he sat down on a dead body.
The night sky was beautiful tonight..but the burning buildings north of his direction covered it with smoke and flames. He turned his head to Haseo and said, "Your family's dead. Your friends are dead. You must be feeling sad inside right? What are you going to do now? You have no more reason to live right? Why not team up with me and kill people for a living..." He took off his mask and grinned slyly at Haseo.

Haseo looks up at the smoke-filled sky with a forlorn expression. Without even looking at Lawliet, he enters the village soon after the flames had died down. He could see the bloodstained bodies of the people who were his only family. For all Haseo knew, Prince Edgar had probably already been kiiled by now. Lawliet was right. There was no reason for Haseo to live any longer. With no family left to call his own...
Wait... Maybe there was...
Haseo fumbles through the ashes of one of the buildings. Perhaps, even in the fire... And there it was. Underneath the burnt wood, Haseo locates a small metal case. On the top were the following inscriptions:
To my dear son, Haseo
Inside the case was a sword and sheath. Upon taking hold of the sheath, Haseo draws the blade from it. There were additional inscriptions on the hilt:
Never lose hope Unwavering courage
Haseo resheathes the sword and slips it into the strap hanging on his hip. He leaves his old sword on the ground in memory of his loved ones. "The elder always taught me to never take another's life out of spite... Sorry, but I won't join you. I'm leaving Arthias. I'm going to find my birth parents.", Haseo states to the assassin, realizing his goal.

Lawliet laughed out loudly, "I knew that was your answer. I never confided anyone with my real name..but here goes. I am Lawliet, The Fallen Angel of Death. You should know me right? I'm an infamous fellow I presume." He smiled, a smile that you can trust but suspicous. "Prince Edgar might still be alive. He has those 6 Generals with them, I doubt even one thousand knights could defeat those fellows. So what do you say? To honor your kingdom of Arthias...want to save him?" He grinned slyly at Haseo, and without waiting for a response he started walking towards the castle by exiting the village by the gate where he killed the guard.

Haseo looks down at the sword hanging at his waist. "Silvance...", Haseo utters, whispering the blade's name. "Help me get through this..." Haseo realized that it was too early to take his leave of Arthias. If Prince Edgar was indeed still alive, that meant his life was still in danger. Clenching the Silvance's hilt, Haseo climbs towards the castle. None would stand in his way any longer.

Beowulf ran about the village yelling order to various panicing soldiers. He couldn't BELIEVE this was happening! An attack on the eve of a birthday celebration?! Madness! He drew his blade and raised his shield, slashing at a few passing riders, dismounting them with a single blow each. They were killed on contact. He stood firm in the town square, turning to a small group of soldiers.
"Get the civilians out of here! Lead them away from the city, the castle is too dangerous! We must save as many as we can!"

Lawliet had reached the townsquare and saw the soldiers as well as their Commander, Beowulf. He ran towards them, his katar already equipped. The assassin heard a war cry behind him, clanking metal, as well as footsteps coming towards him. He stopped, spun to face his enemy. The Doramas Knight was surprised and hesitated to attack. Unfortunately, a split second was all Lawliet needed to kill the poor man. The Death Angel decapitated the head of the knight then turned to Beowulf. "You must be the commander. I am the Fallen Angel of Death, Lawliet. Most of the army already went on to the the castle. Get your troops to kill off the remaining knights in the city. My colleague and I had already decimated most of their forces that stayed behind here in the village. I believe you and I should head over to the castle and aid the prince no?" He commanded with a serious tone in his voice, and when he finished he raised a brow at Beowulf.

Beowulf nodded, running towards the castle. His men were good soldiers, and they would manage. Right now, King Matthias' life was in danger. Meanwhile, the other generals were scattered in different places of the castle, fighting of the swarms of intruders. Two knights in particular were guarding the throne room, where King Matthias stood near the throne, sword drawn. He looked fearful, but tried to remain calm.
"What is going on?! An attack?! We have done nothing to deserve this! Nothing!"
The man with the naginata, Amadus, turned to his king, shaking his head.
"I think they care not about that. We will focus on guarding you and this room. Makoto! Get ready!"
The man with the katana nodded, and they both got into position just as the door burst down and the Doramas troops started pouring into the room, yelling their battlecries. The two Grand Generals responded with their own war crys, charging forward. No matter how many troops leaped forward at these two, it seemed none could pass, for they swung like frenzied demons, killing many at a time.
